During Labour Day weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario, the Nissan Micra Cup drivers competed in the second-to-last race weekend of the 2016 season. Two races took place under scorching sun and heat, and in front of thousands of spectators who came together for the most important event of the year on this circuit, where the NASCAR Camping World Truck series was the headliner.
This weekend, Nissan will present its TITAN Hauler XD project truck at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the last Micra Cup race in Ontario of the season, bringing together the extremes of the Nissan Canada line-up – the TITAN XD full-size pickup truck and the Micra subcompact. The TITAN Hauler XD project truck builds on the production TITAN XD's already exceptional towing and hauling capabilities by almost doubling the payload rating with a Nissan Micra Cup race car secured in the truck bed.
After a successful first race at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville (northeast of Toronto) in July, the Nissan Micra Cup will return to the fast Ontario track this weekend. Micra Cup drivers will compete in the thirteenth and fourteenth races of the 2016 season, as part of NASCAR Weekend - the biggest attraction of the year at this venue.
