Two American GT Academy winners can further burnish their professional racing credentials this weekend at very different racetracks 4,000 miles apart – 2013 champ Nick McMillen in Le Mans, France and 2011 winner Bryan Heitkotter on the streets of Detroit, Michigan.
As the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours approaches the halfway mark, Nissan's Jann Mardenborough and Mark Shulzhitskiy, along with their Oak Racing teammate Alex Brundle, are extending their lead in the LM P2 class.

In the LM P2 class at Le Mans today, it was a great day for the Nissan engine, which took the first eight positions in class. The new Ligier JS P2 chassis made a very successful debut, as the No.46 Thiriet by TDS Racing entry took pole position. The No.35 Oak Racing entry driven by two GT Academy winners grabbed third place.
