As director of marketing for Nissan Canada Inc., Steven Rhind is responsible for the planning and implementation of all marketing communications and media for national, retail, digital, CRM, social sponsorships and auto shows. Steven is also responsible for the product planning, day-to-day market actions and intelligence on Nissan products and their competition. Steven has held this position since June 2014 and was previously senior manager, chief marketing manager, responsible for sales and marketing for Nissan cross-overs, sedans and the all-electric Nissan LEAF.

Steven has over 17 years of well-rounded automotive experience. Steven's career is rooted in ten-years of sales and marketing experience with Honda Canada, as well as holding progressive positions with BMW Group Canada and on the agency-side with Grip Limited.

Steven holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA in Cross-functional Leadership from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

One of Steven's all-time favourite cars is the 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin-Turbo for its dramatic styling and impressive performance. His favourite current Nissan model is the fun-to-drive JUKE NISMO RS, for its standout design cues and NISMO-tuned suspension, brakes, engine and steering.

When Steven isn't working at his dream job, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and spending time with his wife and their three children.
