Mississauga, Ont. – This past weekend, Nissan's Rally of the TITANs kicked off for a cross-Canada adventure, bringing together Canadian Football League (CFL) fans from coast-to-coast for a series of regional challenges. For two weeks leading up to the 104th Grey Cup, 10 CFL branded Nissan TITANs will rally across the country in an epic East versus West conference battle. The drivers will collect points along the way through a series of fun daily challenges, and the 10 TITANs, representing the nine CFL teams and the Grey Cup, will meet up in Toronto for the Grey Cup Festival on November 25th and the final challenge, hosted by TSN.

"As the official vehicle provider to the CFL for 10 years, Nissan Canada is thrilled to celebrate its ongoing commitment to Canadian football with the first-ever Rally of the TITANs," said Joni Paiva, president of Nissan Canada Inc. "We are excited for CFL fans and Nissan dealers across the country to get involved in the action as we embark on this journey and showcase what the full Nissan TITAN lineup is all about."

One TITAN from each conference will hit the road on November 12th, with the West conference team starting in Vancouver, B.C. and the East conference team starting in St. John's, Newfoundland. These two TITANs will lead the road trip, while the remaining TITANs will stay in their assigned markets until they are picked up by their respective conference teams to join the Rally of the TITANS journey. Passing through over 88 communities, the Nissan TITANs will be making stops to visit Nissan Kickoff Project schools, Nissan dealerships, CFL partner teams, football events and Canadian landmarks across the country.

The winning conference team will earn their conference's Nissan Kickoff Project schools an additional donation to support their high school football program. In its third year, the Nissan Kickoff Project provides Canadian high schools with the specific support they need to play football, including financial funding, equipment, uniforms and motivational events. This year, the program will help nearly 1,200 students from 26 schools nationally in 24 cities and eight provinces coast-to-coast.

"The CFL is working with Nissan to grow the game of football in Canada," said Jeffrey L. Orridge, Commissioner of the Canadian Football League. "We look forward to the excitement that the Rally of the TITANs is sure to bring to our fans across the country."
