Nissan today unveiled the last of four new vehicles debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. The dramatic reveal featured a special interactive presentation of the Intelligent Safety Shield technologies available in the redesigned 2017 Rogue against a high-action video. The video was followed by a drive-out of a pair of the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition vehicles accompanied by battle-ready stormtroopers.
The name association is obvious – Nissan Rogue meet "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," the first-ever standalone Star Wars story. It's only fitting then that Nissan and Lucasfilm, the studio behind the latest addition to the Star Wars movie empire, join forces for the first-ever full-size production vehicle to include Star Wars- branded elements, the "Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition."
The all-new 2017 Nissan TITAN full-size pickup has been named one of three finalists for 2017 North American Truck of the Year (NATOY), an annual award selected by an independent, self-funded jury made up of a group of automotive journalists from across the United States and Canada. The announcement was made this morning by NATOY judges as part of a Motor Press Guild (MPG) breakfast at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
This past weekend, Nissan's Rally of the TITANs kicked off for a cross-Canada adventure, bringing together Canadian Football League (CFL) fans from coast-to-coast for a series of regional challenges. For two weeks leading up to the 104th Grey Cup, 10 CFL branded Nissan TITANs will rally across the country in an epic East versus West conference battle. The drivers will collect points along the way through a series of fun daily challenges, and the 10 TITANs, representing the nine CFL teams and the Grey Cup, will meet up in Toronto for the Grey Cup Festival on November 25th and the final challenge, hosted by TSN.
Nissan today took the wraps off two new 2017 models – the revised Versa Note and limited production JUKE Black Pearl Edition– prior to each vehicle's respective debut next week at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
In an automotive world with seemingly ever-confusing vehicle and model names, the 2017 Nissan JUKE Black Pearl Edition is hard to misunderstand. It's Super Black and features Pearl White exterior accents. And, it adds a surprisingly bold appearance to a vehicle that, since introduction, has had a style and personality most accurately described as "extroverted."
For 2017, Versa Note accentuates its popular forward-looking style even more with a new front fascia, “V-Motion” grille and swept-back halogen headlights. While now sharing a closer family resemblance with Nissan Sentra, Altima and Maxima, the new design retains the vibrant Versa Note personality, especially when wrapped in new Monarch Orange, Deep Blue Pearl or Cocoa Embers exterior colours. In addition, Versa Note S, SV and SL grades receive the sporty rear fascia previously available only on Versa Note SR.
