Nissan North America names Jeremy Tucker Vice President, Marketing Communications and Media

2015 Nissan Altima

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With new partnerships and a slate of product launches on the horizon, Nissan has brought on Jeremy Tucker as the new vice president of Marketing Communications and Media, to help lead the brand’s marketing activities. This appointment is effective Sept. 22.

“Jeremy’s 14 years of brand management experience with a variety of consumer brands—such as Disney, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble—gives us the competitive advantage of integrating a uniquely different insight and perspective to our marketing strategy,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc. “As we prepare to launch new vehicles such as the Nissan Murano, having a marketing communications expert from outside the automotive industry will help us identify uncommon ways to engage customers and amplify the overall brand.”

Tucker joins Nissan from Disney Consumer Products where he led a franchise-focused strategic marketing organization and collaborated with all business units to ensure consistency among the brand’s advertising channels.

Prior to his role with Disney, Tucker was senior director of Marketing, National Brand Innovation for a top global brand of PepsiCo. Tucker was also a part of the Procter & Gamble account team at Omnicom Group’s Targetbase, where he worked on the Pampers, Iams and Eukanuba Pet Foods brands.

Tucker holds bachelor’s degrees in fine art and marketing from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
