Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn made news yesterday at the North American International Auto Show with predictions of self-driving cars by 2020 and comments on revving up the EV market. Pure zero-emission vehicles are still something the CEO is bullish on, despite some growing commentary that electric vehicles are over due to lack of infrastructure, reliability and cost.
Jose Roman is managing director of Nissan Latin America and the Caribbean (NLAC). Roman joined Nissan Mexico in June 2012 as regional sales vice president of Nissan Mexico where he built comprehensive relationships with distributors to increase Nissan's presence in Mexico. Previously, he held several positions at General Motors where he worked in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
François Dossa is president of Nissan Brazil. Dossa joined Nissan in 2012. Previously, he was CEO, Societe Generale where he was responsible for the Brazilian and Latin American markets. Earlier in his career he was director of Export Finance at Paribas in Paris, France, as well as the commercial manager of CGEE-Alstom do Brazil in Sao Paulo.
