Jose Roman Shares His Views on Growth and Innovation at the World Economic Forum on Latin America

MEXICO CITY - Jose Roman, vice president and managing director of Nissan Latin America and the Caribbean, joined more than 450 business leaders at the World Economic Forum on Latin America 2013, which took place last month in Lima, Peru.

As part of the session "Latin American Business: A Global Take," Roman shared his views on how globalization strategies are contributing to shaping the global and Latin American business landscape. He highlighted Nissan's global and regional manufacturing footprint as an example of how companies balance the need to be close to customers while leveraging resources across many markets around the globe.

Roman also discussed ways companies can benefit from globalized supply chains and talent networks to catalyze growth in emerging markets such as Latin America.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation in 1971 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum is widely seen as the most important business summit worldwide.
