Nissan inaugurates satellite design studio in Brazil

Nissan officially opened its satellite design studio in Rio de Janeiro today. Located at Nissan Brazil's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, the Nissan Design America Rio studio (NDA-R) is tasked with researching materials and styling and is already contributing to future development projects.

Nissan receives highest ranking in two vehicle segments in J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study

The 2014 Nissan Rogue is the most appealing new Compact SUV to own and drive, according to a study of more than 86,000 purchasers and lessees of new 2014 model-year cars and light trucks. As part of the J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM, Rogue achieved a segment-best score of 786, with the Nissan Quest ranking highest in the minivan segment with 790 points.

Nissan Announces Engine Plant as Part of New Resende, Brazil Industrial Complex

Today, during a visit to the construction site for Nissan's new Vehicle Plant in Resende, Brazil, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., announced that the Industrial Complex will also include an Engine Plant. The new engine plant will open in 2014 with a capacity to produce up to 200,000 engines per year.
