Nissan Celebrates Manufacturing Milestone in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (May 29, 2013) - Ten years ago, Nissan Motor Company brought auto manufacturing to Canton, Miss., creating jobs and opportunities for thousands of residents from the area's surrounding communities. The company and its employees celebrated at a free festival for the community at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson on Saturday. Grammy-award winning band Kool & the Gang headlined the event that was punctuated with a fireworks display.
