Nissan North America expands U.S. regional leadership roles, promotes two executives

Judy Wheeler and Randy Parker

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan has promoted Judy Wheeler to the role of vice president, Nissan Southeast Region and Randy Parker to the role of vice president, Nissan West Region. Each previously served as the regional vice president for the same geographic areas. They will continue to report to Fred Diaz, senior vice president, U.S. Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan.

In addition, the role of all regional leaders, which includes regional vice presidents in the U.S. Central, Midwest and Northeast areas as well, has expanded to provide a more comprehensive level of authority and autonomy. Responsibilities now include regional marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development and financial controls. This scope builds on the traditional function of these positions, which focused on delivering vehicle and part sales and driving continuous improvement of customer and dealer satisfaction.

"These redefined positions will give our regional leadership improved ability to align regional performance metrics with overall Nissan North America goals such as improving consolidated operating profit, growing market share and maximizing return on investment spending," said Diaz.
