Nissan announces senior management changes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan is promoting several individuals within its Legal and Human Resources functions, effective Sept. 1, 2014.

Todd Woods, currently assistant general counsel, is named senior director and deputy general counsel, North America. In this position, Woods will have primary responsibility for all legal matters within the company's operations in the North America region. He joined Nissan in 2012 in his current role. Woods holds a bachelor's degree in business and an M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. He will report to Andrew Tavi, vice president, Legal, Government Affairs and Human Resources, and General Counsel for Nissan in North America and Latin America

Jason Menges, currently senior counsel, is named director and assistant general counsel - Litigation, reporting to Woods. Menges joined Nissan in 2011 in his current role. He holds a bachelor's in business management and a law degree from the University of Michigan.

Dale Kimball, currently assistant general counsel – Corporate and Transactions, takes on added responsibilities as deputy general counsel, Latin America. Kimball will continue to be located in Franklin, Tennessee, and he will have primary responsibility for all legal issues in the Latin America region. He will report to Tavi and Jose Luis Valls, senior vice president and chairman of Nissan's Latin America Region. Kimball earned his bachelor's degree in international relations from Brigham Young University and his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.

Leon Martinez, currently director, Human Resources, Mexico, is promoted to senior director, Human Resources, Mexico and Latin America. He will be based in Mexico City. Martinez joined Nissan in 2013 and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a master's in quality management from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas.
