Nissan is bringing four new 2017 model debuts to the Los Angeles Auto Show this year – and creating an immersive "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"-inspired experience for consumers visiting the Nissan display. Nissan is one of five global brands joining forces with Lucasfilm Ltd. for the launch of an extensive global promotional campaign in support of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," which opens in U.S. theaters on Dec. 16.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R, with its available 600-horsepower high-capacity turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine, is normally recognized for its speed. Today, the iconic Nissan supercar was given a prestigious award for going slow – as in slow depreciation – in being named the top Premium Sports Car in the annual ALG Residual Value Awards. The award was presented this afternoon at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Nissan today unveiled the last of four new vehicles debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. The dramatic reveal featured a special interactive presentation of the Intelligent Safety Shield technologies available in the redesigned 2017 Rogue against a high-action video. The video was followed by a drive-out of a pair of the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition vehicles accompanied by battle-ready stormtroopers.
The name association is obvious – Nissan Rogue meet "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," the first-ever standalone Star Wars story. It's only fitting then that Nissan and Lucasfilm, the studio behind the latest addition to the Star Wars movie empire, join forces for the first-ever full-size production vehicle to include Star Wars- branded elements, the "Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition."
Nissan today kicked off its slate of new product debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a preview of the new 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO in downtown Los Angeles. The off-site event displayed the latest member of the motorsports-inspired NISMO lineup against a backdrop of classic Nissan and Datsun performance vehicles and where it is most at home – on the street.
The all-new 2017 Nissan TITAN full-size pickup has been named one of three finalists for 2017 North American Truck of the Year (NATOY), an annual award selected by an independent, self-funded jury made up of a group of automotive journalists from across the United States and Canada. The announcement was made this morning by NATOY judges as part of a Motor Press Guild (MPG) breakfast at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Nissan today took the wraps off two new 2017 models – the revised Versa Note and limited production JUKE Black Pearl Edition – prior to each vehicle's respective debut next week at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
In an automotive world with seemingly ever-confusing vehicle and model names, the 2017 Nissan JUKE Black Pearl Edition is hard to misunderstand. It’s Super Black and features Pearl White exterior accents. And, it adds a surprisingly bold appearance to a vehicle that, since introduction, has had a style and personality most accurately described as “extroverted.”
Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2017 Nissan Versa Note hatchback, which goes on sale November 22nd at Nissan dealers nationwide. The popular 5-door hatchback model combines with the Versa sedan to be America's best-selling nameplate in the entry-level segment.
