Nissan Announces Engine Plant as Part of New Resende, Brazil Industrial Complex

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Jan. 6, 2014) - Today, during a visit to the construction site for Nissan’s new Vehicle Plant in Resende, Brazil, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Ghosn, President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., announced that the Industrial Complex will also include an Engine Plant. The new engine plant will open in 2014 with a capacity to produce up to 200,000 engines per year.
