  • In time for Mother's Day, Nissan launches contest to honor amazing moms
  • Submit stories by May 8 on social media to win a limited edition #BoxOfNissans chocolates

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Did your mom let you borrow her car for your first date that turned into a lifelong love? Did she slip you some gas money and teach you the rules of the road? Perhaps your mom drove you to school and to great success later in life. If she did, Nissan wants to hear from you.

Through social media, Nissan is looking for awesome-mom stories from its fans. Selected fans will win their mom a limited edition #BoxOfNissans chocolates, so unique they cannot be purchased in any store.

"Every year we see a surge of social-media love notes to honor a special woman on Mother's Day, and Nissan is helping its fans make this year's day even more special," said Jeremy Tucker, Nissan, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media. "Moms have helped many of us navigate through childhood, so we created a way for our passionate and driven fans to give something truly unique and special to their moms."

Each box contains five white-chocolate GT-Rs (for the high-octane mom), five milk-chocolate Rogues (for the sweet and ready-for-adventure mom), and five dark-chocolate Maximas (for the bold mom who got you to soccer on time and was sure to enjoy the drive).

Fans can immerse themselves in the experience, see the box of chocolates and learn more about the type of moms who are being celebrated at BoxOfNissans.com.

Prove that your mom is the ideal driver's mom by submitting a story on Twitter using #BoxOfNissans and #Contest. On Facebook and Instagram, submit your story by commenting on the activation posts. Winners will be notified on or around May 13.

No purchase is necessary and entries are subject to Official Rules
