NISSAN ANOUNCES U.S. PRICING FOR 2012 ROGUE

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced pricing for the 2012 Nissan Rogue crossover, which receives a number of exciting changes for the new model year.  A new Special Edition Package is designed to provide budget-conscious buyers with a range of convenience and technology features - including 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, AM/FM/CD audio system with 4.3-inch color display and USB connectivity, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and RearView Monitor - at an affordable price.  The Special Edition Package is priced at $1,200, a $1,000 savings over the cost of items if purchased separately.

Other enhancements for 2012 include the addition of the Around View™ Monitor to the SL Package at no extra cost (compared to the 2011 SL Package M.S.R.P.).  Rogue is the first non-luxury vehicle in the U.S. to offer this innovative technology, which utilizes four separate cameras to create a virtual 360° overhead view of the Rogue and its surroundings when parking.   For a more detailed explanation and short video, please go to http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/TECHNOLOGY/OVERVIEW/avm.html.

Also new for 2012 is the addition of a “Sport Mode” switch on all models, new 17-inch (SV) and 16-inch (Special Edition) aluminum-alloy wheels, and one new exterior color: Graphite Blue.  The 2012 Rogue is offered in two trims, S and SV, along with three option packages - Special Edition, Premium Package and SL Package.

Following an upgraded look for the 2011 model year, the Nissan Rogue crossover SUV adds a new Special Edition Package for 2012, along with revised content for the various option packages.  Rogue once again offers excellent value, while satisfying both the functional needs of the buyers and their emotional needs - which has made Rogue one of the best-selling vehicles in the Nissan lineup.

The new high-value Special Edition Package includes steering wheel audio controls, RearView Monitor, 4.3-inch audio display, USB connectivity, satellite radio, fog lights and privacy glass.  The addition of a new “Sport Mode” switch on all models provides enhanced engine and transmission response for a more spirited driving experience, while with the addition of the innovative Around View∀ Monitor to the SL Package, Rogue becomes the first non-luxury vehicle in the United States to offer this unique feature.  Other available technology features include Nissan Intelligent Key∀, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) Nissan Navigation System, RearView Monitor, Xenon headlights and a Bose®-developed audio system.
