Nissan announces U.S. pricing for 2016 Rogue

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2016 Nissan Rogue, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

The Nissan Rogue, which was completely redesigned for the 2014 model year, continues to challenge convention with bold emotive styling, a premium interior created with comfort and multi-tasking in mind, and an array of available affordable technologies. Rogue offers optional 3-row/7-passenger seating, along with exceptional passenger and cargo flexibility with its innovative EZ Flex Seating System™ and innovative Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System.

Enhancements for 2016 include:

• Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) added to Rogue SL Premium Package
• NissanConnectSM Services powered by SiriusXM® added to Rogue SL (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately)
• Siri® Eyes Free added to Rogue SV Premium Package and Rogue SL
• New Appearance Package for Rogue S models, with body-colored outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome door handles roof rails and privacy glass
• Addition of one new exterior color: Magnetic Black

Every 2016 Nissan Rogue is equipped with a responsive 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, advanced Xtronic transmission with Sport and Eco Mode switches. Rogue is available with an intuitive All-Wheel Drive system or front-wheel drive.

About the 2016 Nissan Rogue
All 2016 Rogue S, SV and SL models feature robust exterior styling that is designed to stand out in its class. The bold, sharp lines offer a sporty and confident appearance. Exterior highlights include halogen headlights with signature LED daytime running lights, muscular front fenders and hood, body color outside mirrors with standard integrated turn signals and rear spoiler.

Also available are LED headlights, fog lights, privacy glass, roof rails, heated outside mirrors, power panoramic moonroof and a power rear liftgate. Rogue is offered in eight exterior colors.

The premium look and feel continues inside, with the interior designed to make everyday activities a little easier. Rogue's ample interior roominess offers available 7-passenger seating with the optional stadium-style, flat-fold 3rd row 50/50-split bench seat. The reclining 40/20/40-split 2nd row seat offers 2nd row legroom of 37.9 inches and 9.0 inches of fore/aft adjustability with the EZ Flex® Seating System.

The advanced Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System provides 18 adjustable variations between the cargo and occupant areas (two-row models). With the 2nd row seat folded down, the innovative, class-exclusive** Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System creates a flat cargo area. When more space is needed for carrying taller or bulkier items, lowering the floor board creates a deeper cargo well.

Standard Rogue interior features include Zero Gravity front seats, 6-way adjustable driver's seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, front center console, power windows with driver's auto up/down, 5.0-inch center meter color display (Advanced Drive Assist™ Display), air conditioning with microfilter and 2nd row vents, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack, power door locks with auto-locking feature, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant (compatible smartphone required), USB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices.

Also available are dual-zone automatic temperature control, power driver's seat (including power lumbar support), Quick Comfort™ leather-appointed heated front seats, Quick Comfort™ heated cloth front seats and Bose® audio system with nine speakers.

For 2016, every Nissan Rogue comes equipped with a responsive 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission with Sport and Eco Mode switches, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Rogue is available with an intuitive All-Wheel Drive system or front-wheel drive.

Fuel economy is 33 mpg highway for front-wheel drive Xtronic-equipped models. Rogue city fuel economy is rated at 26 mpg, while combined fuel economy is 28 mpg (front-wheel drive models).

The 2016 Rogue also features a suite of confidence-inspiring dynamic technologies – with Active Trace Control, Active Engine Braking and Active Ride Control. A 4-wheel independent suspension, Electric Power-assisted Steering, 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System and 17-inch wheels with 225/65R17 all-season tires are standard. Also available are 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/60R18 all-season tires.

The 2016 Rogue is offered in three well-equipped trims, S, SV and SL. Option packages include the Family Package with 3rd row seating (S, SV), Appearance Package, Moonroof Package (SV), and Premium Package (SV, SL). Rogue is assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee and Busan, Korea.
