Nissan Rogue Named as Winner of 2013 Edmunds.Com Best Retained Value Award

2013 Nissan Rogue

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2013 Nissan Rogue has been named an Edmunds.com 2013 Best Retained Value Award Winner, taking top honors for SUVs under $25,000, with a retained value of 48.2 percent residual value after five years. Now in its third year, the Retained Value Awards recognizes brands and new car models that have the highest projected residual values based on their average Edmunds.com True Market Value® (TMV®) price when sold new.

"The Rogue is one of Nissan's best-selling vehicles, and value has always been part of this equation," said Jon Brancheau, vice president, Marketing, Nissan North America, Inc. "Customers recognize that they're getting lasting value from the Rogue's combination of dramatic exterior style, breakthrough technology such as Class Exclusive Around View® Monitor and interior utility, storage space and functionality. Earning this 2013 Best Retained Value Award accolade from Edmunds.com further solidifies Rogue's place in a very competitive segment."

All model-year 2013 vehicles that were launched by the end of 2012 and had unit sales in March 2013 that were at least 20 percent of the average unit sales for the models in its segment were eligible for this year's model-level Best Retained Value® Awards. Edmunds determined each model's competitive segment based on its body type and the sales-weighted average MSRP of all available styles (excluding destination charges) of that model's body type.

The 2013 Nissan Rogue offers a fusion of value and versatility, coupled with emotional design, innovation and breakthrough available technology, with the first non-luxury application of Around View® Monitor. The 5-passenger SUV boasts a versatile 58 cubic feet of cargo space, ample space for drivers and passengers, a 60/40 split rear seat and an available fold-down front passenger seat. Utility is further enhanced by numerous storage and ultra-functionality features, including an oversized glove compartment, a large center console and a removable and washable tray that fits below the cargo area for storing wet or dirty gear and tools.
