Nissan Announces U.S. Pricing for 2013 Xterra

– M.S.R.P.s Reduced by an Average of $2,200 USD for New Model Year –

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced an average price reduction of $2,191 U.S. for the 2013 Nissan Xterra, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. In addition, the popular Xterra PRO-4X grade features a starting price of $29,440 USD – a drop of $1,200 USD compared to the 2012 PRO-4X, despite the addition of standard NissanConnectSM with Navigation system, automatic on/off headlights, RearView Monitor and a revised interior appearance.

The pricing action is being taken in order to maintain Xterra's strong sales momentum. In addition to the PRO-4X, Xterra X grades have been reduced by $2,540 USD, Xterra S grades by $2,620 and Xterra PRO-4X grades by $1,200. Xterra PRO-4X grades receive additional content for 2013. Other enhancements to the popular Xterra for 2013 include the addition of two new exterior colors, Glacier White and Cayenne Red.

About the 2013 Nissan Xterra
The adventure-ready Nissan Xterra continues to combine power, utility, value and authenticity again in 2013. Xterra's distinct "multi-flex" interior provides an abundance of useable space, storage and convenience features – including an available Easy Clean cargo area, Utili-Track® cargo carrying system, tie-down channel system, 10 cargo hooks and built-in first-aid kit.

For the 2013 model year, PRO-4X models add updated contrast stitching and seat embroidery, auto on/off headlights, outside temperature display, RearView Monitor and navigation system. Xterra S models add Display Audio with CD/AM/FM/Aux/USB, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately); and all models receive slide-on-rod style sunvisors. The 2013 Xterra is available in three well-equipped models – X, S and PRO-4X – making it easy for buyers to select the exact Xterra model for their particular needs and lifestyles.

All Xterra models feature an advanced 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine, rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque, along with a rugged "F-Alpha" truck platform for adventure-ready performance. The "F-Alpha" platform is shared with the full-size Nissan Titan pickup, Frontier pickup and Armada SUV. Xterra is available with a choice of 6-speed manual (S 4x4 and PRO-4X 4x4 only) or 5-speed automatic transmissions and in a choice of part-time 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive (PRO-4X available as 4x4 only).

While maintaining its tough gear positioning, Xterra also offers a range of advanced technologies, including Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately) and a Rockford Fosgate® audio system with eight speakers and subwoofer.
