Brad Jaeger was slowing down from 155 mph and locked up the brakes, causing a spectacular spin. Returning to the pits, the car took almost 20 minutes to replace the cable and battery, returning to the track 10 laps down. "We had the car to beat here," said Jaeger's co-driver BJ Zacharias. "The team did an awesome job and even though we were many laps down, we had one of the fastest cars on the track at the end. It's a shame." The VIR Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge (CTSCC) race will air on Fox Sports 1 on August 31 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. The next CTSCC race will at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas from September 19 to 20. # # # Issued by Nissan Files 14_at_VIR.pdf (112 KB) Save Remove Download Share Photos / Galleries / Videos Subscribe to Email Alerts Files 14_at_VIR.pdf (112 KB)
