Since his GT Academy win last September, Nick McMillen has spent a lot of time on the track. His all-GT Academy team finished second in class in a 370Z NISMO at the Dubai 24 hours, and he's raced numerous times in GT4 in Europe.
Nissan has altered the line-ups in its Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 cars in the Blancpain Endurance Series. From this weekend at Paul Ricard, the No.35 GT-R will be raced by Lucas Ordonez, Wolfgang Reip and Peter Pyzera, while Alex Buncombe moves over to the No.32 GT-R, which he will race with Mark Shulzhitskiy and Steve Doherty.
Nissan GT Academy Team RJN took victory in the Pro-Am class of the Blancpain Endurance Series race at Silverstone today. The win for the No.35 YouTube Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 is the first class victory for Nissan in the Blancpain Series, made all the more sweet as it took place at the home of GT Academy.
The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 is a car that likes a bit of room to stretch its legs. At Monza – the Cathedral of Speed – there is plenty of room for that, albeit shared with 59 other cars racing in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
This weekend provides a packed schedule of racing for Nissan with the FIA World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series firing up for new seasons at Silverstone, while in Italy the NISMO Athletes will take to the track at Monza for the first round of the Blancpain Endurance Series.
