Nissan PlayStation GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough received the biggest news of his career earlier this week with the announcement that he will contest Formula One feeder series, GP3 in 2014. Now the young star is also set to make his North American race debut.
GT Academy 2011 champion Bryan Heitkotter has a history of strong qualifying laps during his Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSCC) career, and his first drive in the Skullcandy Nissan Altima almost netted him his fourth pole position. But a flurry of fast laps in the closing minutes of the session bumped the #33 Skullcandy Nissan Altima to the second row for tomorrow’s Performance 200 race at Daytona International Speedway.
