Modeled after the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup, the SprintX has race weekends that feature two one-hour races, each with a mandatory driver change. Sanchez, from Mexico, will team with American Frankie Montecalvo, a former Pirelli World Challenge GTA class champion. "After two years of racing in Europe, I'm looking forward to not having to worry about any jet lag," Sanchez said. "Now, it's just short flights to the U.S. and only one or two hours of time difference. I won't lose as much time just trying to get my body onto the time zone. "It's going to be easier for sure. Going from this high altitude in Mexico down to sea level is going to be easier for me, physically, as well."
