1936 Datsun 15 Phaeton: The "15", which appeared in May 1936, uses the same 722cc (Type 7) engine as the "14", but the compression ratio was raised from 5.2 to 5.4 to turn it into a 16ps engine. The square badge on the upper left of the radiator grille is a feature of the "15", which also had horizontal louvers on the side of the hood of a more elaborate design than the simple vertical ones on the "14".
