Doran Nissan shows speed, struggles with electrical gremlin at VIR

DANVILLE, Virginia (Aug. 27, 2014) – The #14 Doran Racing Nissan 370Z NISMO was running in the top five at Virginia International Raceway when a loose connection to the alternator cause the engine to lose power and knocked out the car’s ABS system. Brad Jaeger was slowing down from 155 mph and locked up the brakes, causing a spectacular spin. Returning to the pits, the car took almost 20 minutes to replace the cable and battery, returning to the track 10 laps down.
