Johan de Nysschen became President of Infiniti Motor Company, Ltd. on July 1, 2012. In this role he oversees all functions within the Infiniti Business Unit (IBU), which was established in April 2008 to enhance the global business operations of the Infiniti luxury brand.
De Nysschen is located at Infiniti's new global headquarters in Hong Kong, which officially opened on May 22. De Nysschen reports to Andy Palmer, Nissan Motor Company Executive Vice President.
The IBU is responsible for managing global business operations for Infiniti, ensuring consistent development of the Infiniti brand, and driving its profitable growth around the world. In addition to the Hong Kong headquarters, there are three regional operations hubs, including IBU Americas (US, Canada, Latin America), IBU AMIE (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, and Russia), and IBU China. Asia & Oceana market operations are coordinated out of HK HQ.
De Nysschen is a motorcycle and performance automobile enthusiast. Also, he is a oenophile who enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures. He has two adult children, and resides in Hong Kong with his wife, Anna.

From December 2004 de Nysschen was President of Audi of America Inc., at Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. in charge of business in the United States. De Nysschen served as a Member of Executive Board of Volkswagen of America, Inc.
He joined Audi of America after many successful international assignments at Audi, including serving as the President of Audi Japan from April 1999 to December 2004. During that time, he oversaw significant development of the Audi business, establishing an exclusive Audi dealer network and reconfiguring the vehicle lineup.
From 1993 - 1999, de Nysschen was General Manager, Audi South Africa and prior to that held various management positions in the automotive industry. From 1981 to 1990, he occupied positions in the Plastics/Automotive components industry, and in government service.
