Fred DePerez is regional vice president for Nissan Division's Central Region at Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in April 2014. In this role, DePerez reports to Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations U.S., and is responsible for overall regional operations including dealer relations, sales and marketing activities, fixed operations and administration.
Most recently, DePerez served as director, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager where he was responsible for developing strategic direction and coordinating all facets of product marketing for Altima, Maxima, Murano, Z and GT-R product lines.
Prior to joining Nissan in 2011, DePerez held various management positions at Toyota and Chrysler in sales operations, marketing, brand management and product planning.
DePerez holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan Business School and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is based in Nissan’s Dallas, Texas, regional office.
