All-New Nissan Rogue crossover included among Kiplinger's "2014 Best Value Awards" winners

2014 Nissan Rogue

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Citing tremendous affordability and high fuel economy, Kiplinger's Personal Finance has named the 2014 Nissan Rogue the "Most Fuel-Efficient Small Crossover" in the publication's 2014 Best Value Awards. Kiplinger's annual buyer's guide sorts the 2014 models by price and category and ranks them for performance, safety and value.

The all-new 2014 Rogue was praised by the publication for its excellent combined fuel economy of 28 miles per gallon, which provides an excellent value to consumers with annual fuel costs a mere $1,800. Rogue also gets best-in-class 33 mpg highway in front-wheel drive models.*

This award is just one of several that the 2014 Rogue has received since arriving in dealer showrooms this past November. In addition to collecting major industry accolades, the completely redesigned Rogue continues to please consumers. Rogue sales set a January record, with 13,831 deliveries in its first full month of sales, an increase of 54.5 percent over January 2013.

"Throughout the last year, Nissan took many steps in the complete redesign of the all-new Rogue to better equip drivers with the best amenities possible, while still maintaining affordability," said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. "This recognition from Kiplinger's Personal Finance validates the hard work we put into making the Nissan Rogue stylish, innovative and affordable for consumers."

In addition to being cited as "Most Fuel-Efficient Small Crossover," Rogue and three other Nissan models were considered "Worth a Look" by Kiplinger's. These vehicles include:

  • Nissan Altima – Cars $20,000-25,000
  • Nissan Pathfinder – Large Crossovers
  • Nissan Rogue – Small Crossovers
  • Nissan Versa Note – Cars Under $20,000

Kiplinger's Best Value Awards winners are noted in "Let's Make a Deal," available online at www.kiplinger.com and in the March issue (starting on page 63) on newsstands now.
