Andrew Tavi

Andrew Tavi is senior vice president, Corporate, External Affairs and Sustainability for Nissan Americas. In this role, Tavi serves as Chief Legal Officer and head of External Affairs for the Nissan Americas region. He also leads regional Sustainability, which supports Nissan’s commitment to achieve carbon neutrality across the company’s operations by 2050.

Tavi was previously vice president, Legal and External Affairs, Nissan Americas. He joined the company in 2009 as vice president of legal and government affairs, and general counsel. He added leadership of the Human Resources function from 2014- 2017. In his Nissan career, he has also led Nissan's Corporate Planning, Business Transformations, and Compliance functions.

Before joining Nissan, Tavi served as interim chief executive officer and general counsel at Noble International Ltd., a publicly traded, global automotive supplier based in Michigan. Tavi spent most of his career at Noble as vice president, secretary and general counsel, and was instrumental in leading Noble's growth through management of acquisitions in Europe, North and South America, and Asia.

Early in his career, Tavi worked at two full-service, international law firms where he focused on corporate law, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate matters.

Additionally, Tavi serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

He holds a bachelor's degree in english from the University of Michigan and Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan Law School.
