Colin Dodge is executive vice president, chief performance officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML). He also serves as chairman of the Management Committees for the Americas (MC-A).
As MC-A chairman, Dodge oversees Nissan's operations in North, Central and South America, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Design, Sales and Marketing, Administration and Finance.
As chief performance officer, Dodge leads NML's Performance Management Committee, which ensures Nissan's ability to sustain a high level of profitable growth and adapt quickly in the face of challenges such as volatile foreign exchange rates, rising raw material costs and other unforeseen circumstances.
Dodge joined Nissan Motor Manufacturing, Ltd. in the United Kingdom (NMUK) in 1984, and held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing. He was named managing director of NMUK in 2003. Later the same year, he was named senior vice president, Nissan Europe, responsible for Manufacturing, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
Dodge was promoted to senior vice president in charge of operations in Global Overseas Markets, China and Global IS for NML in 2007. In 2009, he was promoted to executive vice president and Chief Recovery Officer, and joined the Board of Directors.
Dodge has a degree from Oxford Polytechnic in Oxford, U.K. He is based at NML headquarters in Yokohama, Japan.
