Dave Mazur is vice president, Customer Quality, Chief Customer Officer and Market Intelligence, Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in July 2015. Mazur reports to Scott E. Becker, senior vice president, Administration, Nissan North America, Inc. for Market Intelligence matters; he reports to Christian Meunier, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc. on all Customer Quality operations; and he reports to José Muñoz, executive vice president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Chairman, Nissan North America as Chief Customer Officer.
Before being appointed to his current position, Mazur was vice president, Market Intelligence, Brand and Regional Revenue Optimization, Nissan North America, Inc. In that role, Mazur was responsible for Nissan's market and consumer research efforts in the Americas as well as the company's structured problem solving and business process improvement efforts. Mazur also had oversight of the company's security operations and facilities management.
Mazur's responsibilities play a vital role in coordinating various Sales & Marketing functions as well as Finance to assure optimized revenue streams along with increasing Brand strength.
Mazur joined Nissan in December 2006 from General Motors where he served as executive director, North America Advanced Vehicle Development and Portfolio Planning.
Mazur holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
