Fred M. Diaz is divisional vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing, Service & Parts with full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Nissan Division in the U.S. This includes all sales, marketing, fixed operations, parts and service and administration functions.
Diaz had been CEO of Chrysler's Ram Truck unit since 2009 and also CEO of Chrysler de Mexico since 2011, responsible for all the Chrysler Group brands there.
In 2011 he was named one of the 25 most influential Hispanic business leaders in America by the editors of HispanicBusiness magazine. Diaz also was instrumental in the 2013 'North American Truck of the Year' award going to the new Ram 1500 pickup truck
Diaz earned a bachelor's degree in management with an emphasis in psychology from Texas Lutheran University and a master's degree in business management from Central Michigan University.
