Judy Wheeler is vice president, Sales, Nissan Division U.S., a position to which she was appointed in January, 2016. In this role, Wheeler reports to Christian Meunier, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan North America, Inc.
In this role, Wheeler has responsibility for leading the Nissan Division sales operations, vehicle operations and fleet functions. She is accountable for all facets of Nissan's U.S. domestic sales activities including sales policies, objectives and initiatives with a focus on increasing revenue and profit generation for the Nissan brand and dealer network.
Previously, Wheeler was vice president, Nissan Southeast Region, Nissan North America, Inc., where she was responsible for regional marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development and financial controls for Nissan's Southeast Region. Before that, she was director of marketing for Nissan Canada, Inc., where she was responsible for all planning and implementation of marketing communications and media for National, Retail, Digital, CRM, social sponsorships and auto shows. Wheeler was also responsible for the product planning, day-to-day market actions and intelligence on Nissan products versus their competition.
Throughout her career, Wheeler has worked in many areas of the automotive industry, including Sales and Service, Marketing and Communications, International Sales and Marketing, and Business Development. A significant career highlight was being the youngest Director of Sales at Chrysler responsible for running the second largest region of the company.
Wheeler has spoken at numerous media events, Automotive News Marketing Seminars and several women's organizations events. She also won an Executive Leadership award and has been recognized by the Diversity MBA "Top 100 under 50" as well as being inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement.
In her spare time, Wheeler has been active in overseeing a women's group of 750 members and building a volunteer organization hosting more than 50 events a year which has won numerous awards and recognition including United Way for their outstanding contribution.
Wheeler holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, a master's in Business Management from St. Mary's College, and she has successfully completed the Harvard Business School Executive Management Program. She is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
