Leon Dorssers is vice president, Dealer Network Development for Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in April 2014. In this role, he reports to Fred M. Diaz, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing, Aftersales, U.S., Nissan North America, Inc. and is responsible for all activities around dealer network development across the North American region for both the Nissan and Infiniti brands.
Prior to this appointment, Dorssers was vice president, Customer Quality & Dealer Network Development, Nissan North America, Inc.
Dorssers joined Nissan in 1992 and has held various positions across Europe including assignments in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid and most recently Antwerp, Belgium. He served as the managing director of a major Nissan dealership from 2005 to 2007, and as the general manager of Network Development of Nissan Iberia, S.A. he was responsible for developing key dealer network initiatives in the Spanish market.
From 2009 until April 2012, he served as the managing director of Nissan Belgium and Luxemburg. In this role, Dorssers led the brand to achieve the number one Asian brand position in the market, whilst carrying out a fundamental reorganization in dealer network and Nissan organizations.
Dorssers holds a master's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from the University of Tilburg in The Netherlands. He is based at Nissan North America, Inc. in Franklin, Tenn.
