Mark Stout is the vice president of human resources for Nissan North America, Inc (NNA). Stout is responsible for all aspects of the human resources function including recruiting, employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, employee and management training, succession planning and career development.
Prior to his current appointment, Stout served as director, human resource operations for NNA where he was responsible for recruitment, staff relations, development and HR policy administrations for NNA headquarters sales and marketing organizations, administration and finance and all sales regions in the U.S.
Stout joined Nissan in 1989 as an HR representative at NNA's Smyrna manufacturing facility. Since then, Stout has served several positions in human resources including section manger and senior manger of human resources of NNA's powertrain assembly plant in Decherd, Tenn. and director of HR and communications for NNA manufacturing in Smyrna, Tenn.
Stout earned his bachelor of science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Political Science.
