Nissan Announces U.S. Pricing for 2014 JUKE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2014 Nissan JUKE and JUKE NISMO sport cross vehicles, which are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

The JUKE NISMO, first introduced in mid-2013, is part of a growing lineup of NISMO-branded factory performance machines in Nissan showrooms. Offered in a choice of front-wheel drive with 6-speed manual transmission or all-wheel drive with NISMO-tuned CVT transmission, the 2014 JUKE NISMO takes JUKE's bold presence in the compact crossover segment to a whole new dimension of attainable performance.

The 2014 JUKE is also offered with two custom equipment packages: the special Midnight Edition and Sport Package. The Midnight Edition features unique 17-inch Black Wheels, a Sapphire Black rear roof spoiler, Sapphire Black mirror caps and privacy glass. The Sport Package includes a body-color rear spoiler, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and stainless steel exhaust finisher. A Navigation Package is also available. Enhancements for the 2014 JUKE include the addition of two new exterior colors - Red Alert and Bordeaux Black.

All 2014 JUKE models are built on Nissan's proven global B-platform. The advanced 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGÔ) Turbo, 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine is rated at 188 horsepower and 197 horsepower for non-NISMO and NISMO models respectively.

JUKE AWD models come standard with an advanced torque vectoring AWD system, which splits torque up to 50:50 between the front and rear wheels and can also can split torque from side-to-side across the rear axle. When cornering, the system helps reduce understeer and enhance the vehicle's cornering feel.

Also offered is the innovative Integrated Control (I-CON) system that combines control of the automatic A/C and the three-mode drive selector - Normal for everyday driving; Sport for a more intense performance feel; and Eco for maximum efficiency - adjusting throttle, transmission (CVT) and steering feel.

Available JUKE interior and technology features include leather-appointed seats, Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition, RearView Monitor, Rockford Fosgate ecoPUNCH™ audio system and Nissan Navigation System with NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately). Safety features include six air bags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).
