Nissan Donates Titan Truck to Mississippi Sheriff's Department

CANTON, Miss. – Nissan continues its support of the Madison County, Mississippi community as the company donates a Titan truck to the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

As a symbol of Nissan's lasting relationship with the Madison County Sheriff's Department, the Titan will serve as the patrol vehicle for one of the department's criminal investigators.

"Nissan is committed to being a partner in the communities where we live, work, and do business," said Dan Bednarzyk, vice president, Nissan manufacturing - Canton. "Through the donation of this Nissan Titan, we are pleased to support local law enforcement as they strive to enrich the lives of this community."

With 317 horsepower, 385 lb-ft of torque and up to 9,500 pounds of towing capacity, the Titan will be a capable resource for investigators who often need large vehicles when recovering stolen goods.

"With partners like Nissan in the business community, our jobs in law enforcement are made easier and more productive.
