Nissan Wins "Best Online Newsroom" in PR Daily's 2013 Media Relations Awards

Nissan Wins "Best Online Newsroom"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan took top honors for Best Online Newsroom in PR Daily's 2013 Media Relations Awards, a program that recognizes the "best of the best" in the communications industry.

PR Daily praised NissanNews.com and InfinitiNews.com for the user-friendly and engaging design of the sites that makes it easier for journalists to quickly pull together information and assets for their own stories. PR Daily noted that content is also organized and easily sharable on a variety of social media platforms.

"Just as we take pride in the innovation we offer automotive buyers, we wanted to do the same with our service to media," said Dave Reuter, Nissan's vice president of corporate communications. "We've had a lot of positive feedback to the new design, and traffic to the newsroom has more than tripled."

Nissan began working with Wieck Media in 2011 to completely revamp the Nissan and Infiniti newsrooms, which soon evolved into platforms that frame content in a unique and easy-to-navigate format that journalists can use. Additionally, these sites support both brands for the United States, Canada (French and English), Mexico and Latin America (Spanish) and Brazil (Portuguese).
