Steve Millen reflects on the Nissan 300ZX win at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona

Steve Millen

MONTEREY, Calif. - Twenty years ago, in the 1994 24 Hours of Daytona, Steve Millen took the pole, fastest lap and victory with the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Cunningham prepared race car. In the video below, Steve Millen recaps this historic feat and talks about the decision to found STILLEN.

During that 1994 season, Millen and the No. 75 Nissan 300ZX won the IMSA GTS class at the 24 Hour of Le Mans (including 5th place overall) and the 12 Hours of Sebring, along with the 1994 IMSA GTS Drivers' and Manufacturers' Championship.

To commemorate that championship season, Nissan and Millen are bringing the Le Mans-winning No. 75 300ZX (chassis no. 7), as well as a number of the original crew members, out of retirement to compete at the 2014 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Raceway, in Monterey, Calif. from August 14 through 17.
