Nissan North America, in conjunction with BankPlus, recently awarded educational grants totaling more than $77,000 to local schools in Mississippi. More than 100 teachers and administrators from Madison County and Canton public school districts were recognized at a special awards reception held Aug. 27 at the Nissan vehicle assembly plant in Canton, Miss.
Rounds 9 and 10 of the All-Japan F3 championship took place at Okayama International Circuit over the weekend, with the #23 machine of NDDP (Nissan Driver Development Program) driver Daiki Sasaki racing to a pair of victories as he led from pole position all the way to the checkered flag in both rounds.

Belgian competitor Wolfgang Reip emerged victorious from over 830,000 European Gran Turismo® gamers when he was crowned Nissan PlayStation® GT Academy champion at Silverstone. The 25-year-old student from Lachutel will return to the UK shortly to embark on an intensive Driver Development Program preparing him to race in the demanding Dubai 24 Hours in January in a Nissan 370Z GT4 car.
