As Nissan continues toward its goal of 10 percent market share in the U.S., the company has named Michael Colleran regional vice president, Nissan Northeast Region, effective Jan. 1. Colleran will take over from Gary Frigo, Nissan's current regional vice president, Northeast Region, who has elected to retire at year's end.
Last month, the Renault-Nissan Alliance sold its 200,000th zero-emission car. The Nissan LEAF, which we launched four years ago, is by far the top-selling electric vehicle worldwide. Sales are up 20 percent this year.
