Strong pace by GT-R squad in World Challenge in Canada

The Always Evolving / AIM Autosport Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 squad showed strong pace in the latest round of the Pirelli World Challenge Championship at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Toronto. James Davison and Bryan Heitkotter finished fifth and seventh in the opening race on Saturday and improved further on Sunday to cross the line in second and fifth respectively on a damp track.

Nissan Murano named "Activity Vehicle of Texas" by Texas Auto Writers Association

Recently, the 2016 Nissan Murano was named "Activity Vehicle of Texas" by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) during its annual Texas Auto Roundup, a two-day drive and evaluation of 53 vehicles in 17 different vehicle categories. Journalists from 11 states participated in this year's program, which was based at the Texas Motor Speedway. Along with the recently redesigned Murano, the new Nissan Altima and Maxima sedans were judged highly, taking runner-up spots in the mid-size and full-size car categories respectively.

Nissan teams dominate wet Imola ELMS

Thiriet by TDS Racing and United Autosports were the big winners in the LM P2 and LM P3 classes in the European Le Mans Series last weekend at a rain soaked Imola. The final portion of the four-hour race was run under safety car conditions after torrential rain struck the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

SUPER GT star Daiki Sasaki dominates Fuji Formula 3 with two wins

SUPER GT ace Daiki Sasaki dominated the weekend's Japanese Formula 3 action at Fuji with two wins for the B-MAX Nissan Driver Development Program team. Sasaki held off teammate Jann Mardenborough in Saturday's race by a mere 0.612 of a second and completely dominated on Sunday, scoring the win with a 2.644 second margin.

Drivers overcome rain and cold to put on a spectacular show at the 2016 Nissan Micra Cup season opener

The Nissan Micra Cup officially started its 2016 season this past weekend at Ontario's Calabogie Motorsports Park. An event dampened by difficult weather conditions saw rain, wind and unseasonably cold temperatures challenge the drivers. At the wheel of their fun-to-drive, agile and practically stock Nissan Micra S cars, the drivers put on an exciting show during both races this past weekend, with victories going to Kevin King and Xavier Coupal.
