Nissan expands popular "Midnight Edition" package to six core models – Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Rogue, Murano and Pathfinder

Nissan today announced it is expanding its Midnight Edition equipment package, previously available only on the Maxima SR, to five additional models – each among the brand’s best-selling nameplates. Designed to add visual excitement, the new Midnight Editions of Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Rogue, Murano and Pathfinder share unique content – including black wheels, black spoiler, black mirror caps and available special floor mats –with additional equipment added by model.

Nissan Altima and Rogue recognized as top vehicles among multicultural consumers

The Nissan Altima and the Nissan Rogue each earned top-honors from the National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers (NAMAD). The Altima is recognized as the top-selling vehicle among African American consumers in 2016. The Rogue earned distinction in two categories, Volume Growth Leader in both the African American and Hispanic/Latino segments. Nissan was recognized for these accomplishments during NAMAD's Diversity Volume Leadership Awards ceremony on Jan. 8 at Detroit's Cobo Center just prior to the kickoff of the North American International Auto Show.

2017 Nissan Altima, Maxima and Rogue earn Top Safety Pick Plus ratings from IIHS

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) today awarded three 2017 Nissan vehicles with its "Top Safety Pick Plus" (TSP+) vehicle safety rating, which is the group's highest-available designation. The 2017 Nissan Altima, Maxima and Rogue each scored at least a "Good" rating in all five "Top Safety Pick" (TSP) test categories and earned "Top Safety Pick Plus" status with "Advanced" or "Superior" ratings for front crash prevention for models equipped with optional Forward Emergency Braking. Beginning this year a "Good" or "Acceptable" rating for headlight performance is also required to earn a TSP+ rating.
